CHILDLINE Ajmer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Childline Ajmer was started in July 2011. The program is currently fully active in the areas of Masuda, Pisangan and Jawaja.<\/p>\n

Objective<\/em>: – Our vision is to provide\u00a0a child-friendly nation that\u00a0guarantees the rights and protection\u00a0of all children. We aim provide\u00a0emergency assistance to any child\u00a0who is need of care and protection.\u00a0We aim at voicing the concerns and issues of children to policy makers and thus\u00a0advocate services for children.<\/p>\n

Identification Procedure<\/em>: –<\/p>\n

CHILDLINE has a national, 24 hour emergency outreach service which is a free phone helpline for children in need of care and protection. The CHILDLINE number 1098 is a toll free number that is common\u00a0in all the cities of India. CHILDLINE Ajmer responds to every child who dials\u00a01098 and provides emergency assistance through intervention an\u00a0follow up.<\/p>\n

Key Focus Area<\/em>: –<\/p>\n

We focus on the most marginalized children in the city\u00a0which includes street children, children in domestic work, children who have\u00a0been abused, child victims of the flesh trade, differently able children, child\u00a0addicts, children in conflict with the law, children in institutions, mentally ill\u00a0children, and children affected by HIV\/AIDS, children whose families are in\u00a0crises etc.<\/p>\n

Achievements:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Awareness in\u00a0CHILDLINE is an\u00a0integral part of the\u00a0program. The primary\u00a0focus is to make the\u00a01098 number known\u00a0to children and to\u00a0show them how to\u00a0use the service.\u00a0CHILDLINE Ajmer\u00a0has been rigorously\u00a0involved in\u00a0conducting outreach and awareness on a regular basis.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Dosti Week: During the period of 8th to 14th November 2012, the CHILDLINE team devoted more than 16 hours per day going for\u00a0outreach and awareness to different localities and areas targeting market\u00a0places, taxi stands, slums, PCOs, shops, police stations, etc. sensitizing\u00a0the masses about CHILDLINE and its services. \u00a0The following events\u00a0were conducted by CHILDLINE Ajmer:-<\/p>\n
